Aye, behold such a rare thing as the classic good ol' restaurant. Not many left sadly.
I went here for breakfast. The food was good, staff nice, and there was a good anisette about the place. My only issue is that it took a long time to get our food, but my husband did order the hand breaded chicken fried steak, so I guess I can't blame them too much.
I have been here twice and both experiences have been great! The first time was so good, that I decided to take my parents who were visiting from eastern Oregon. The people are so nice, cheery, and look like they enjoy themselves at work! They also are efficient, quick, and keep up on refills. I love old diners, but this one has to be one of my favorites! The food reminds me of the country food I grew up on. I LOVE the Chicken Fried Steak and the Flapjack (I added blueberries). YUM!!!! :P :)
This place was sooo good! We visited wildlife safari and stopped here for dinner. The food was out 5 minutes after we ordered and tasted so good. My daughter's couldn't stop commenting on how good their French toast was, wish there was more than one slice of bread though. Our waitress was awesome! I can't wait to visit again!
The menu items seem to be rather expensive for breakfast considering the small amount of food you actually get. The food is good, but not worth the price and nothing really stands out above the other restaurants that are cheaper and about the same quality. The waitresses are awesome though.
